Memories of Abby

Remember when you:
1) Had fun with Jen and Jared in New Hampshire and the beach when you were a puppy
2) Barked at dogs walking outside and then ran to eat your food
3) Ran without your leash in the back of LMK
4) Chased the geese and made them fly away
5) Then ate the goose poop and made me so mad (but not for long!)
6) Wanted to play ball and put the ball on the coffee table and nudged it towards me when I was trying to snooze on the couch
7) Caught the ball after it bounced off the wall
8) Wagged your little nub and your whole backside would move
9) Chased the blowing leaves in the fall
10) Always ate your turkey but not always your regular dog food (So would I)

Remember when we:
1) Sneaked up the back stairs to my apartment in White Plains. No dogs allowed? yeah right!!
2)Went for those great walks at Manor Park and SUNY Purchase
3) Went to MacDonalds and shared some fries
4) Shared a bagel and creamcheese in the car on Sunday mornings
5) Marched in the Harrison Day parade
6) Went to the pet store in Mahopac and you ate all the free sample treats
7) Were on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams

Remember our special friends:
1) Dr. Randell who made you feel better when you were sick
2) Dr. Schimelman who made you so comfortable and peaceful at the end
3) All of the people at Somers Animal Hospital, especially Diego, who love you so much
4) Andrea at Bone Jour who always makes you look so pretty
5) Jodie your first surrogate mom and walker
6) Peggi who walked you too and loves you

And our MOST SPECIAL FRIEND Aunt Eileen. She gave you the name "Sweet Abby" and would never leave you if you didn't feel well. Remember when she stayed with you once ALL DAY to make sure you were OK? I know you do and both of us will never forget her kindness, dedication, and love. She was with us at the end and it helped us both so much.
