Memories of Animal Aid Society
| "We thought of you with love today, but that was nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, and days before that, too. We think of you in silence and often speak your name. Now all we have is memories and pictures in a frame. Your memory is our treasure with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our hearts." This is for all the departed fur babies who shared their lives with many "moms" and "dads" at our shelter. You came to us abandoned, frightened, hungry, sick, injured, and neglected but would always forgive those who abused you. In turn we became your guardians and tried to find new families who would treat you with the love and kindness you deserve. If your forever home was not to be, you remained with us. We loved you everyday that you were here and will miss you everday for the rest of our lives. May you enjoy each other's company at Rainbow Bridge until we meet again. Thank you, God, for sending these wonderful creatures to share their unconditional love and companionship with us. We learn so much about forgiveness and the power of kindness to mend broken hearts. These special messengers were never ours, but belong to you ... and to you they must return. |
