Memories of Baby Boy

Baby, you came to me in such a strange way. Although your given name is Lucky because your Doctor said you were LUCKY to be alive and if God hadn't sent you to me, you would not have been. A very scared little 4 week old baby, you somehow were hanging on the the motormounts of my friends car. You lost your little voice for almost a year, from screaming, then came your precious little squeaky meow and you became such a little lover. When I came home, you were right there calling me and you were in my lap, giving me hugs and kisses everytime I sat down. If I was out of your site, you'd start calling for me. I'd say "Baby, mommy's in here, and you'd come running". Every person that came to the house, you'd jump in their lap and give them kisses. It made no difference if you knew them or not, you loved them. I had the pleasure of your love for 12 years, and never thought I'd loose you so soon. Twelve years wasn't long enough. Baby, just play and run and be happy and loving like you always were, until you see your mommy coming, then you'll do what you always did--come running to me and shower me with your kisses. I love you so much my precious Baby Boy.
