Bart was such a good dog and he provided me with so many hours of company. He loved his flip chips and his treats. He was such a begger! and I could not refuse him. He talked to me, sometimes it almost seemed like he could say "meaty bone"! Update 06-27-06. It has almost been a year now since you left and I still miss you so much. Kevin misses you too. We both think you were the best dog ever. Kevin misses making you talk. I know you are at peace and are running happy now. 07-04-07 I still miss you so much. Sam and Sasha keep me company, but they are not like you. You were my baby. We had to move Baskgo, no more running around out there for the dogs. AT least you are not here to miss going out there. 06-15-08 I had to put Wally to sleep yesterday, his kidneys were failing and he was so thin. I told him to find you and Beaver as he left me. Now you, Beaver, Wally and Champaigne are together again. 07-03-10 OMG, has it been 5 years since you left. sometimes it feels like yesterday and sometimes, it seems like forever that I got to hold you. Lost two of my people friends recently, that was hard. Sam has Fanconi's and I have to feed him lots of pills each day. He gets to run around at our barn we are at now. Sasha is like Champaigne and just hangs around the barn. Three cats at home One from our old barn and 2 that i have rescued. Lucky is the lover of that bunch. Of course, Sam is the lover of the dogs. He loves to be under the covers. Missing you and what a wonderful dog you were, Love, Mommy. 10-18-10, Bart, I had to send Sam to you 9-24, I can only now write about it. The disease was starting to take a toll on him. The house is now so quiet, Sasha still hides a lot. Sam was not as well behaved as you, but he was a great cuddler. He let me know what he wanted. Please take care of him. 7-3-11 Today it has been 6 years, so hard to believe. We still miss you and talk of you often. No one was more of a person then you were. Rest in Peace my wonderful Bart. 6-24-12 Almost 7 years now and I still cry when I come here. Smokey Mo, the barn cat that I took home, died at Christmas. My, I will have quite the group to meet me at the bridge! Sasha still hides, but is coming out more now. I miss my cuddly dogs.
