Memories of Buddy Pierce
08/14/14

Buddy, wanted to send you Happy Birthday wishes. You would've been 12 years old today. We still miss and love you sweet boy. Our hearts were broken again back in June as we sent your sissy, Callie, to Rainbow Bridge. We hope you both are together again as brother and sister. Happy Birthday Buddy.

Luv always,
Mommy & Daddy

Buddy, I miss you so much. This morning I walked into the office and saw your handsome face on the computer screen and just wanted to pull you out and hold you tightly. Take care my sweet baby.

Luv always,
Mommy

Baby Buddy, we've been talking about you so much the past few weeks with the holidays upon us. All the memories still live on this time of the year and how much fun it was to see you running around the house under the Xmas tree with your sister and ripping through the wrapping paper pieces on the floor. What good memories you left us.

Love you,
Mommy, Daddy and Callie

Buddy, two years today (5/24/10), we had to say goodbye to you, our precious baby boy. You've been in our hearts and memories each day since. We love you very much and miss you dearly. We will be releasing balloons later this afternoon for you to receive at Rainbow Bridge which is filled with our love.

Love you,
Mommy, Daddy, and Callie

Hello Mr. Handsome!! Just wanted to let you know that we still miss you dearly. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think about you and shed a tear. Your sissy, Callie, has taken over so many of your habits which brings smiles to our faces constantly. We swear, this is your sign to us that you are still here sending us messages that you miss and love us as much as we miss and love you baby boy. Merry Christmas.

Love you always.
Mommy, Daddy, and your sissy Callie

Dear sweet baby Buddy. Where do I begin? It's been 10 months since we said goodbye to you. Life is still so difficult. We miss you so much 'handsome'. The tears are starting to flow yet again. Your sissy Callie misses you also. There isn't a day that goes by that your daddy and I don't talk about you. You gave us such great memories and we will cherish them forever!! Daddy has his computer desktop screen setup with nothing but pics of you that change every 30 minutes. Sometimes I see a picture of you and just start crying as you appear larger than life. I go over to the monitor and give you a kiss on that sweet pink nose and rub your head and talk to you.

We hope that you've found many new friends at Rainbow Bridge. There have been many nice people leaving us messages in the guest book letting us know that you're doing well and playing with their fur babies as well at Rainbow Bridge. I truly hope you're happy and healthy and that your asthma problems are gone. You suffered to long and deserve to be happy and healthy now baby (just breathe)!! I asked God so many times to give me your asthma as I could have lived with it better than you.

I got a new chain this past weekend to put your 'In Memory' photo engraved pendant on. I also got an angel pendant to wear daily along with the cross pendant that I've worn for many years in memory of my Granny that passed back in 2002. You were our perfect little angel Buddy.

I remember the day I bought you home back in 2002. You were a gift / special delivery from a co-worker that hand picked you from the litter. We were so lucky to have you as a new member of our family. Daddy and I were trying to decide on a name and daddy said 'Buddy', that's his name. So, Buddy it was. Your sissy Callie didn't know what to think of you. She thought you were invading her territory, but you just wanted to be her little brother and be close to her. I'll never forget that first weekend that we let you free to be a big boy and share the house with everyone else. I was so afraid Callie would hurt you, but she took you in and you both became little brother and big sister and were napping together within a matter of a few days. Of course that calico streak would come out every now and then and she'd take out her aggressions on you. But you stood your ground.

Last year (8/14/10) on what would've been your 8th birthday, we planted a tree in the back yard in memory of you. Every time we go outside, we look down at your tree and think of you. We've added a bird feeder out back and also plan to add a bird bath this year next to your tree. Your sissy definitely enjoys the birds and squirrels that visit her daily. We call them her friends.

Baby, take care of yourself.

Love,
Mommy, Daddy & Callie
