June 6,2006 ...Our Sweet Precious Gabby, you came into your lives just at the perfect time. Rodney Jr. found you when you were just a baby and he begged me to let him have you. Even Rodney (Grampa)fell in love with You at FIRST sight! You filled our home with SUNSHINE. Such a gentle loving baby you have always been. The most Loyal dog anyone could ever want, all of the unconditional love that showed in your BEAUTIFUL BLUE eyes...always by my side. ...When we brought Maggie home you cared for her like she was your baby and did the same with Biscuit and Bagel. When we lost Bagel you and Biscuit were always at my side knowing that I was in pain. Bagel will be SO HAPPY to see his BIG SISSY at Rainbow Bridge. ...I will always keep the winter with you as that was the season that you LOVED so MUCH! You were always a PUPPY in the winter, you love the snow and the cold. I LOVE you my sweet baby and I'll miss those licking's you gave me when ever I petted you or even made eye contact with you. I'll miss the HOWLING when siren's were heard in the distance. I'll cry everytime I give Maggie and Biscuit their doggy cookies, knowing that you were always so thrilled to get them. ...My Momma left for Heaven exactly a week before you did...when you see her give her a lick for me and tell her I miss her dearly. ...Gabby I LOVE YOU SWEETIE! GRAMMA ......06/08/2006 ...Gab, It has only been 2 days since you left us for Rainbow's Bridge and I miss you so much and so does your Grampa Rodney. Every time we walk outside we expect you to "PRANCE" to my side with your BEAUTIFUL tail all curled up in the air. I miss hugging and petting you and giving you little Eskimo kisses. I want to brush you and tell you how beautiful you are while your Gorgeous BLUE EYES focus directly on mine. ...Biscuit and Maggie will hardly eat, Grampa thinks they are waiting for you and saving it for you. I've been spending A LOT of time with them and I really believe they are missin' you too! ...My sweet Sissy "Gooby Doo" I love and miss you! Gramma ---------------------------------------------------------------- 06/18/2006 ...Sissy is has been almost 2 weeks since you left us. I have missed you SO MUCH! Maggie and Biscuit have started eating again but it took several days before they wanted to. There had been no HOWLING for the entire time you'd been gone...THEN last night the 2 of them howled (I suppose they heard a siren)...or did you get them started :) LOL! I found this poem today and it is so PERFECT for my sweet "GOOBY DOO", "Little Sissy"!------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOSS OF A FRIEND If you've ever known the joyful sound Of barks that fill the air- A sloppy kiss, a friendly paw, A quiet adoring stare- If you've ever had a special friend To share a tear or two, Or maybe just a wagging tail To lift you when you're blue- If you've ever felt the wrenching pain That only death can send, Then you have lost Not just a dog- You've truly lost a friend. Gramma -------------------------------------------------------- July 28, 2006 Hey my "GOOBY DOO"! Gramma misses you SO MUCH! Is Maggie with you? We think someone stole her out of the front yard. Biscuit has been so lonely, but now he stays in the house with me and Grampa all the time. Sissy, we think of you EVERYday...we miss you so much. Take care of Bagel and all of the other furbabies at the bridge. You always LOVED every animal you came in contact with so I know you are in your GLORY "Mothering" all of them. I know you are enjoying the comfortable weather at Rainbow's Bridge. Biscuit has been soaking up the air conditioning :)...sometimes I have to MAKE him go outside to potty! Sissy, I think of you EVERYDAY and have your portrait sitting by my chair in the livingroom and the rocks I had painted with your likeness on them are right there beside me too. Your are so BEAUTIFUL! I'll ALWAYS LOVE YOU SISSY! Gramma ------------------------------------ SEPT. 28, 2006 Hello Sis, Honey, I've thought of you SO much this past week. I know how youthful you always got as the temps cooled off, like a youngster in cold weather! You would have really enjoyed today...highs in the 60's. I'm going to keep your season here as WINTER because I know how much you love the COLD and SNOW! Gab, your Gramma misses your sweet loving looks and LICKS. My very loyal companion and friend, I wish I could brush your lovely coat, HUG you around the neck and feel your sweet kisses again. Sis, you're ALWAYS in my heart! Take care of little Bagel for me. Sweetie show her around and keep her company, you know how shy she always was. ...Gab, we Miss you so much! I so miss your little kisses! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I KNOW you have made so many friends there at the Bridge, you were always the Most friendly and social baby we ever had. Honey, we MISS you...I know you have already gave Tiddle Cat a big LICK and Welcomed her. Thank you! Biscuit sends his LOVE! ...Love, Gramma -------------------- June 6, 2007 Sweet Gabby, You've been at Rainbow's Bridge for 1 year today, it seems like forever since I looked into your beautiful big BLUE eyes and got my daily supply of Gabby KISSES! I miss you everyday my sweet baby girl. Give Tiddle Cat and Bagel HUGS an KISSES for Gramma and Grampa. If Maggie is there please tell her we love her and miss her too. Biscuit says to tell Aunt Gabby "HI" and that he Loves and misses you. He is such a good boy and Wonderful companion to Gramma, I would be so lost without him. He rarely lets me out of his sight. Love you, Gramma ---------------------------- September 26, 2007 Hello My SWEET Gooby Doo! I came to ask you to Welcome "Bunner" rabbit to the bridge. He left us here on Earth this morning and your gramma is heartbroken. Grampa buried him beside you, "Bagel" and "Tiddle Cat" this morning. He hadn't been feeling well last week but perked up a few days ago. I guess his little sweet heart just gave out. I already miss he so much. He was 8 years old and I am told that is pretty old for a tiny bunny. He had a good life and the run of the entire garage...and when he was in the house he had the run of it too. Take care of "Bun" Gab and give him HUGS and KISSES from Gramma and Grampa. Tell him "Bootie" already misses him too, I never knew that a Cat and a Bunny could be such GREAT friends! Love you Gab, Gramma -------------------------- December 23rd, 2007--------- Gab, MERRY CHRISTMAS Sissy!!! Wow you would SURE LOVE the winter weather we are having here at home! You'd be rolling in the snow and running and jumping like a little kid! Gabby Dell, I LOVE and Miss my sweet lovable baby so much. I miss your gorgeous BLUE eyes and your sneeky little kisses! I have you in portrait on tile right next to my chair and I look at you and think of my Sweet Baby Girl EVERYDAY. I have a Grand-daughter now, Noel and I have told her so many time how much her Aunt Gabby would LOVE her up!!! I remember how much you adored Kaelyn and how much she loved you.
