Memories of Glenda
|
Glenda & I were destined to be together. My first Bulldog, Avery, left us the day before my birthday. Glenda was born on my birthday. Pals we were. She came to work with me the first 6 months of her life. Dad would pick her up and bring her home if I had to work late. Her life was an event. Every month was a birthday party, basically a way for mom & dad to remember her heartworm medicine. But to her, it was an event. The annual Big Day was such a gala! She loved to open presents.....no matter who's they were. Let's not talk about Christmas. Her name meant Divine Goodness. It fit her, or she fit it to a tee. Her life was an eternal party. When it was necessary for here to leave, it was a great and unexpected blow. She is where she is needed. I think of her and a smile fills my heart. There will never be another Glenda. I will always love her. |
