Memories of Lacey
Lacey had been found emaciated and alone on the streets in Alabama. After regaining her health she was sent to a shelter in Ohio where she awaited her forever home. On September 9, 2020 she found just that.

Lacey loved to sunbathe, cuddle, learn new tricks, curl up in warm blankets, go on walks, sleep, and play tug-o-war. Her favorite foods were sardines, chicken, salmon, and dried pieces of cod.

She had the biggest and most loving heart of any dog. Lacey found a friend in anyone and everyone. Despite having a rough beginning, she spent the last two years of her life knowing nothing but happiness and love. Everyone who met Lacey loved her. She especially loved kids, who always flocked to her wherever she went to pet her and play with her.

Lacey spent her last moments surrounded by the people she loved most, wagging her tail and in my arms where she took her final breath.

All of her friends and family will miss her greatly. Lacey brought joy to so many people. She was a beautiful dog with a beautiful heart.

Lacey is and always will be my best and greatest friend.
